Community Garden Neischmelz

The garden is located on a brownfield site, so the crops are grown in raised beds. The management of the garden is done in common. The space is designed as a place of conviviality, meeting and exchange. The project is transitional and the garden site is rented by the Fonds du Logement. A new ecological neighbourhood will be created in the coming years.

The main event is the plant exchange, which is organised once a year during the holy month of ice cream in collaboration with various local organisations and associations.

Whether it's building raised vegetable gardens out of recycled pallets, a greenhouse out of old windows or turning a caravan into a nursery, the conscious use of resources is one of our core values.

Participation in the garden is not conditional on the payment of a membership fee and there is no waiting list; everyone with or without gardening knowledge is welcome.

To participate, just come on Saturday mornings from 10 to 12 o'clock.
