The garden was born in 2018 as a private project on a family plot of almost 1 hectare. A permaculture design was developed with CELL using the permaculture system and the "Keyline pattern".

The idea of the garden is :

• To create an edible landscape of trees, shrubs, wild herbs as well as dye and medicinal plants and increase biodiversity.
• Experiments with soil regeneration and water retention on sandy soil.
• A small group of village residents have been growing vegetables on three small plots since 2020. The idea is to train around the creation of a garden, to exchange, to meet other people and to participate in the trainings offered by EiseGaart.
• Part of the land is left for pollinators and wild plants. In collaboration with the LAML High School, a group of students designed, built and installed an insect hotel.
• The role of the garden is mainly educational, especially in transmitting knowledge, promoting our natural and cultural heritage, participating in citizen science projects, experimenting with different techniques or simply getting in touch with the "wild" nature in and around us.
• Offering creative workshops on herbs, wild herbs, plant dye and paint.
